TRP Cycling needed a user-friendly way for riders to control and personalize their wireless shifting protocol CMD, ensuring both seamless connectivity and an intuitive experience.

We designed a custom app that streamlines device pairing, enables effortless switching between shifting modes, and allows for easy customization of ride preferences, all within a clean, modern interface. Our partner Unlock’d meticulously handled the implementation of our designs.

The new app gives cyclists precise, on-the-go control over their shifting, elevating both performance and enjoyment. Riders now benefit from a smarter, more responsive biking experience, fully tailored to their needs.
We had the opportunity to design a brand-new app for TRP Cycling. Our goal was to create an intuitive platform that gives riders seamless control over their VISTAR drivetrain using TRP’s wireless shifting protocol, CMD. It makes it easy to customize shifting modes and personalize their race bike experience.
We reimagined the rider’s connection to their bike with a smart, wireless app built for TRP’s CMD (Command) shifting system. Cyclists can now tailor their riding experience, seamlessly toggling between manual and automatic shifting, dialing in their ideal cadence, and customizing gear settings, all with a few taps.
The app works hand-in-hand with TRP’s VISTAR drivetrain, giving riders the freedom to let the bike handle shifting for them or take control whenever they want. The interface is clean and intuitive, designed to put advanced performance features at your fingertips. By uniting innovative drivetrain technology with a thoughtfully crafted digital experience, we empower riders to focus on the road ahead, knowing every gear change is smooth, responsive, and perfectly matched to their style.
